Anyway he brings the money and the guy brings the game and it turns out he has it for xbox 360... so when my dad comes home and tells me the story he says "I'll buy you the game from gamespot but you need to have really good grades" I have them but they're not enough.... So i'm pissed!

You could simply give your dad a lecture, just tell him you're trying your best, it isn't your fault that your grades aren't up to your dad's standards, just simply tell him that, anyway, you should be trying your best in class, do as well as you can man.

Yeah, im kinda in that situation. I have over double what i need to get the god damn game, yet i can't. It's not my grades either, they're fine as far as anyone's concerned, it's just the fact that my birthday is in 20 days.
Even if i were to go out and buy it, my Dad would just take it away, and say "Thanks, saves my buying it. You can have it for your birthday". Cos it's just like, i look on my friends list and there are 24 people online. 22 of them are playing Mw2! The other two are blank, on the internet or something. It's just so.. GRRR!
