(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The most dumbest that that a police force has done, is what happened to me the other night. So, a couple buddies and I were in a Skype Call for hours. So we decide to "Social Engineer/Hack" someone's PSN account (That We Know). So I went to Facebook and got the email and, I already knew his name and PSN because he added me. So we called Sony and got the e-mail switched. But the thing is, the new e-mail got a password reset. So the next day, I wake up to a facebook message saying "Dude, Donte called the police because we stole his PSN account". I didn't think much of it. But, come to find out, he really did. What is the point of calling the police over a PSN account? Why not call PSN and get it back?

What do you think of all of this? I thought was, and still is funny.

How are the police dumb if the person called them. What Also, social "engineers" deserve worse. I never understood the pleasure in ruining other peoples time and costing them money. These people should use their talents for things that are more constructive.

How did we cost him money? It was a PSN without any money on it, or downloads.

You didn't cost him money per se, but he did call the police. They took the call and nothing has happened yet, but if something does and they decided to investigate the issue, they'll be paying officers to do that and that officer who drives that car uses gas. In the long term it all comes back onto the tax payer. So in a round about way you potentially wasted thousands of dollars for taking an account. Had that not occurred your friend wouldn't have notified the police.

Notice how I said potentially, it's all hypothetical until this issue becomes something.

Are you fucking serious? I would of called the FBI and got your ass arrested for doing that, Social Engineering is highly illegal and you can get arrested up to 15 years. You're lucky that he called the police, because if I was him, I would of called the FBI and took you to court for being a retard. And you really think it's easy for him to get his account back? Hell fucking no, you changed his email and he can't recover the account for shit.
