What did you guys study/or are studying?

Just interested Cool Man (aka Tustin)

Currently doing Level 3 Creative Media at my local college... looking into perhaps studying Photography (and something else on top of that - not yet decided on what that would be exactly) at a University somewhere up North (Aberdeen etc) simply because it costs a heck of a lot less and yeah

The course is basically everything media-related.
I like to explain it in the way that schools work. I mean, in school, you have a variety of subjects and that's basically what the course is like.
I have lessons in: Photography, Radio, Scriptwriting, Photoshop, Film-making and Business enterprise.

Since I've just finished my first year (literally, I finished today) I will be notified in the coming month whether I am 'allowed' back for the second year (they cut the classes in half to get rid of all the... slackers).

However, for myself, I only REALLY enjoyed Photoshop and Photography. I feel I did stronger in those 'subjects' than any of the others listed.
If you like Photoshop or taking Photographs (or even learning about the previous two) then I would recommend it... However, like school, after the first 2 months it kinda drags on... but I mean, learning is never 100% fun :P

As for the helping you out in life... I guess it might? If you wanted a job in either of the listed sectors. At the end of the 2/3-year course you get a diploma or some shit like that and then you can go onto University to get a Masters or something Smile

I'm currently studying a BSc in Accounting & Finance and doing an online course in Web Development which is basically being employed by companies that want work done and then I do it but I submit it too my course director who then checks and sends it onto the company. I paid €950 for the web dev course and have made over €5000 from contracts in it so far.
