Ok, you are obviously not well educated about what has and is happening in the Middle East, let me just teach you a small lesson that might give you a different look on it.
It was the Taliban that harbored the Al-Qaeda group that committed the 911 attack. Before we attacked the Taliban we asked them to turn over the terrorists and they refused and continued to harbor Al-Qaeda. So we attacked the Taliban and drove them from power in Afghanistan.
And if you are one of those guys who think the military should pull out of the Middle East ask yourself one question. Do we really want the group that habored the 911 terrorists to get back in power or should we finish the job?
Trust me bro, you can't argue facts.
That was a dumb move on Taliban's part but they didn't turn them over because they couldn't trust US and thought they would just attack them anyways because they were harboring Al Qaeda.
Also they're not really friendly with each other anymore because they got fucked by them as US invaded Afghanistan.
"In July 2012, an anonymous senior ranking Taliban commander stated that "Our people consider al Qaeda to be a plague that was sent down to us by the heavens. Some even concluded that al Qaeda are actually the spies of America. Originally, the Taliban were naive and ignorant of politics and welcomed al Qaeda into their homes. But al-Qaeda abused our hospitality." He went on to further claim that about 70% of the Taliban are angry with Al-Qaeda, revealing the icy relationship between the two groups."
I agree though that US had solid reason to attack Al Qaeda and even Taliban because they didn't think about consequences of not turning over Al Qaeda.
You could say Afghanistan was justified but now 9/11 is just used as an excuse for NSA to spy your citizens to "prevent terrorism".
Also there's Iraq...
