Directions: The following ten examples are sentence fragments. Determine if they need a subject, verb, or both to be a complete sentence. Then, add what is needed to make it a complete sentence.

1. Often for selfish or loathing reasons. [Subject, Verb]

2. Brave men and woman fighting to server and protect this country. [Verb.]

3. Although Global Warming itself has been happening since the earth was first created. [Subject, Verb.]

4. Therefore making it complicated to live a normal life. [Subject]

5. Roughly between the years 900 and 1300. [Subject]

6. Mostly caused from burning fossil fuels. [Subject, Verb]

7. No more drama over which team deserved to go to the championship game and which teams didn't deserve to. [Verb.]

8. Though there have been multiple seasons in which an undefeated team has not received the change to contend for a national championship. [Subject, Verb]

9. After this problem had been going on for over one hundred years. [Subject, Verb]

10. Whether one thinks that homosexuals are totally disgusting and outrageous, or one thinks that gay marriage will enhance diversity and equality. [Subject, Verb]

Directions: The following seven sentences have improper possessives. Please mark the sentence appropriately, changing words or adding or taking away punctuation as needed.

1. There was no facemask, leaving ones face vulnerable to anything or anybody.

2. These nations have 52 percent of the entire worlds oil reserves.

3. Why would Iran need data from a nuke test if their's were for peaceful purposes?

4. These include: refusal to leave ones home, inability to hold down a job, nightmares, depression, and anger.

5. Eight of the nations best teams would be chosen to participate in a fair and competitive race to be a true national champion.

6. The NFL needs instant replay, not just to review plays, but to possibly save a coaches job.

7. If there are not enough minorities on election ballots proportionate to the areas population, minorities are allowed to challenge the choosing on charges of discrimination.

All I did was copy the worksheet I had.
