So, after doing some research on the interwebs, I have came across a good idea. The easy, and efficient way of making the desk the size, and shape I want, is to use a solidwood door slab. They usually run anywhere from $30-$60. Considering its a door, I could use the "handle hole" as a place to feed the cords. But my question is, what kind of legs should I go with? My grandpa (The person who is helping me in this whole establishment) recommended to use PVC pipes. Using PVC pipes, I can run the cords and cables through the pipes and be completely wire free. But he also said I can use a sawhorse type bench.

I am kind of thinking about just going with the PVC pipes and choosing a different color. But, what do you guys think looks better?

The PVC pipes look better to me.

Yeah, that would be nice.. But my laptop is old and gets hotter than a fat kid in the summer time. But, this is really for my TV, consoles, and my desktop.

Or you build a actual desk and get off these shitty IKEA design sites. Also pvc pipe looks pretty shitty you might as well just your a folding table.

Why not just buy a table?
