NP Carling is right , Scientists have been wrong lots of times before eg. Y2K

Scientists fixed Y2K. Companies had to hire original computer programers, which were hard to find, and made tons of money writing and fixing code so everything didnt crash in 2000.

Name a real reason when scientists have been wrong.

But the Bible has been proven wrong in places , but choose not to believe in them (as in the scientists who proved it wrong)

Why would you accept something that has been proven wrong? That is like saying 1+1 doesn't equal 2.

Were you Catholic/Christian and turned Athiest?

I think if my beliefs change anyway from this topic , I'll have to leave

Eveyone's proving Christianity wrong , But i'll NEVER turn athiest

No'one can change my beliefs , You believe in a flying spaghetti monster?
Fine with me!

Accept my beliefs and religion , I can accept that your Athiest

Btw , That'd be pretty wrong if we were all created by Incest Happy

No. Scientists have made some of the greatest discoveries and creations in the world. What I'm saying is that you can't tell the difference between a scientist who is lying, and who is not. And if you say another scientist can, how do you know they aren't. I'm not saying they are all liars, just that you can't tell the difference.

Em yes scientists can prove there not lying with physical evidence.

and your other comment you said "scientists have been wrong before" that is true, but scientists love being wrong, if anything getting something wrong is an achievement for them.
How...?? you may ask, when scientists are wrong, that means they have advanced in knowledge.

PEACE

My father was one of those computer programmers Happy

And there were also a lot of scientists that said Y2K would not happen

Both.

God created the first beings, and they evolved.

I was a diehard Episcopalian(Christian) and hated all Atheists. I remember the rage I had when my friend told me there was no god. Science, through courses in biology, physiology, chemistry and physics converted me.

Maybe becuase a lot of it is wrong? There are parts that science can never prove wrong, but if a lot of Christianity is wrong, why would the rest of it be right?

Accept my beliefs and religion

I can accept religion if they back up their beliefs with facts. Some religions do that, and I respect that. On the other hand, others are all "faith", which is the same as believing there is a flying spaghetti monster above me.

Like ^^ said, when scientists test their hypothesises they are not always right, but gain further knowledge in testing that hypothesis through the evidence needed throughout the scientific method.

NP_Carling when have scientists been wrong?

Idk about you guys, but when I think about something deeply, it just makes my head explode (i.e how big is the universe and where does it end), and I was thinking.... What is god? Where is god? Was he just there all alone and decided he would create an entire universe and pick a tiny little planet orbiting 1 out of the trillions of stars located in 1 of the millions of galaxies to have about 1/4 of the intelligent beings worship him? Also, what about Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, etc.? What do you have to say about those religions? "Oh well my parents told me to be a christian, so I have decided to believe everything in church and everyone else is wrong no matter what."?

Tbh you guys probably dont get what I am saying, but really. Science is right. It is impossible for me to believe in any all powerful being (even the spaghetti moster Happy)
