Now, before I begin my rant I would just like to say this is my opinion and that if you are going to reply at least have some respect and I will respect yours. Being that it is a well-educated response...

Ok, here we go.

I'm from the UK and in 2013 The Guardian posted an article on rape statistics saying that there are 69,000 female rape cases a year and 9,000 male rape cases. (You must login or register to view this content.). Now, how often do you hear of a male rape case in the news? Not a lot? At least in comparison to female rape cases. This is because of three things: Feminism, Biased Courts and the definition of 'rape'.

According to the Sexual Offences Act 2003 it states as follows
A person (A) commits an offence if—
(a)he intentionally penetrates the vagina, anus or mouth of another person (B) with his penis,
(b)B does not consent to the penetration, and
(c)A does not reasonably believe that B consents.

The fact 'rape' is defined as penetration makes it a inherently sexist threshold for sexual violence.

If rape is defined as 'forced sex' you might even see more male victims than female. Forced to penetrate must be included in the rape definition for it to be gender neutral and valid for use with both sexes.

Now I'd like to make my point about how feminists have an effect on this.

If there is an article posted online about equality or rape it is always automatically taken-over by feminists; and anything relating to abuse in a relationship can only go one way, according to posts on Tumblr and other female journals online - because if anyone tries to write an opposing view, giving evidence to support it they are banned/removed from the site by feminist extremists.

This can easily be linked in with other things such as violence against men, which is highlighted perfectly in the video below...

But back on topic.

Males get raped too and courts are far too lenient towards the female perpetrator.

"Feminist man-haters have worked hard to make sure that male victims are silenced and left with no legal recourse, and female perpetrators are never held accountable."

If a man goes to the police station or tells his friends that he was raped then he is more than likely going to be either laughed at or told to wise up.

So this is my view, it may come across as biased but it's not an easy thing to explain without sounding biased. Because quite simply, not enough is being done about it.

Just my view. Look forward to replies on this.

I'm just going to wait for all the feminist to come out of the wood work to call you a misogynist... because it's guaranteed to happen.

Probably, though my disdain isn't towards girls as a whole but rather to the small feminist-extremist minority and their desperate pursuit of "equality" for women too ignorant to realize that males are regularly discriminated against as well.

So it's just the minority of extreme feminists / Tumblr feminism.

Male rape is usually ignored unless it's by the ugly woman then police will investigate it. But if it's by the hot lady, then they'd just laugh and say we should be glad we got laid. We deserve the quality.

On a serious note, since other users aren't being serious. I have to agree. There are numerous cases where a much older lady (teachers, etc) rape their younger students. Even if they are jailed, the kid are obliged to pay the woman child support (example - You must login or register to view this content.)

It's not primarily because of feminism, its because of how judges and sometimes the law view this kind of case. I feel that both genders are still not viewed equally to everybody else. Although it is sometimes good for some genders (its still uncommon for a woman to be hit by a man, and it's usually viewed that men are obliged to do physical labour) the majority of the time it's still unfair. This simply cannot be changed, because that is the way life has always and will be unfortunately. Sure I'd like to see genders being treated fairly, but it will not happen, at least for a very, very long time.

In Flames Much?
Legal definitions are sometimes behind the curve, not sure but I think the law has to a point defined it enough so male rape is listed.
Good to see you also took it from You must login or register to view this content. over wiki.
So my view is the whole legal system around rape needs a rework.
Don't blame Feminism but rather a clouded vision of sex and relationship.
About time the whole legal system protected both sides until court. Male rape is quite simply harder to prove over female rape from a legal stand point it two people against each other.
And about time we treated sex in the serious tone needed along with relationships.
