Honestly, it would be cool if people could be like PC modders and figure out how to just customize guns, maps, etc.. End the cheating, make the game fun. Play games for real. I miss the glitching days like flying out of the map. MW2 elevators, etc.


This is exactly how I view the current state of console modding. It's more along the line of producing cheats, than modding. Modding isn't creating scripts that aim for you, shoot for you, rank for you, and what not. Modding is creating custom weapons, custom maps, custom game modes, and redesigning certain aspects of games.

One of the most common mods created for Half-Life eventually became it's own title... Counter-Strike. Ultimately I'd be more supportive of people if they actually created mods, instead of create, recycle, and reuse cheats.
