(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Death threat tweet gets game pulled from steam. Mike Maulbeck developer for Paranautical Activity tweeted out of frustration death threats to Gabe Newell the CEO for Valve.
Valve sent a email to Mike explaining the company is ceasing all business with the developer. Admin accounts handled by Mike to be closed down along with removing the game from the store front.

Valve was in the process of promoting Paranautical Activity being part of a it Halloween themed games selection on Steam. Problem was the a small error which listed the title was being Early access when the title was a full release.
Mike Maulbeck started to get messages asking if he asked the company to say it was Early access to avoid problems with the game being unfinished or avoid the spotlight on issues. Mike did message the company about the mistake before ranting on twitter about the problem. Promotion for the game could bring in dozens of extra sales for the title with millions using the games distribution service every day
Went on to tweet how incompetent the company was before ending with a death threat, all tweets have been removed.

Mike Maulbeck has decided it time to quit the company and making video games You must login or register to view this content.

Paranautical Activity can still be found on the company site.

Can't help but feel sorry for the guy and Valve needs to improve how they deal with the store.
Most likely more detail to the story.

Game actually looks really cool. Hopefully they can convince Steam to put it back in the listings.

It's ok I like yo face though

If you actually read the tweets. He has no one to blame but him self. When games are going on a sale this is done in advance. The game came off Early access and the sale info went out an hour later. So really all this guy had to do was act like an adult and talk to them about this.

Note to self when you see a story always post it first instead of waiting >_> <_ <
Not expecting the company to do that given how it was a indirect threat to him, nothing but his own fault.
