Although it says 66% of Americans are overweight, how do they come to that? Are they gathering that data through BMI? If so I'd immediately discredit their source. Body mass index is the most inaccurate measure for being overweight etc. I suppose I could drop an example.
According to the body mass index I'd be obese, however my body fat percentage is roughly around 13% which is quite high but then again I'm not cutting. For BMI there is no consideration for the fact that muscle weighs more than fat.
