Just to clarify things, Laim isn't trying to purposely be an ass to you. He's simply doing his job, and just as it states in the rules, Backseat Moderating isn't allowed. And Backseat Moderating is telling other people what to do and what not to do, which is another statement that means the same thing as 'moderating'. Laim is a Sectional Moderator, so he's simply letting you know what you're doing wrong. Take the advice and don't always take opinions as harmful statements or you just shouldn't be on these forums, much less the internet. Just saying.
Have you read his first response to me? That's definitely "purposely being an ass". Look, Natsu, you're an alright guy, and seem friendly enough, but I think you're missing the point. Saying a simple sentence is not doing anything to anyone. When people, and I especially, tell fellow users when they're not following the rules, it's because they might've forgotten. I've read the rules multiple times. I know about backseat moderating, and can thank Geo for that. I would say 60-70% of users don't read the rules. I know what MLB was doing was attempting to be funny (attempt, because it's two steps away from doing, and that makes it all the better.), and I responded in kind. The thread's a joke. He "asked" for rep. Was it serious? No. Did I know that? Sure. Can we just end this already? And Natsu, I know each one of us, at one point, has told a user what he did wrong, whether he be new or old, so I see it as hypocritical to say what I did is bad, when another person gets away with it. Let this lecture be other with, shall we? NGU shouldn't be a place for arguing.
