Personally I would make a few suggestions.

1. Have a actual radio station (where users can use Winamp, VLC or Virtual DJ if there a little more confident to share songs with one and other and even have a little mixing battle every now and again)

2. Have a section to retro gaming (snes, megadrive, Atari etc.) this could include hacked roms that people made or custom soundtracks or songs people composed.

3. Have a design section for people who are looking for graphics for signatures, banners, YouTube graphics etc that people could request and others could make them.

4. Maybe a reviews section where people can review a game and then the readers could voice there views on it.

5. Trophy/Achievement guides that the NGU members could make and such. Most of the time the newer games trophy guides take ages to get posted other places and NGU could get them done quicker and more effectively.

6. I would also suggest a competition thread where people can post and host competitions they find to help the community in possibly winning things. I mean I no NGU does them regularly but to find them it can be tedious going through every thread just to find them.

7. Themes everyone likes to customise things to match there personalities.

There is many more things I could think of but it is late and I honestly can't think properly.

If any of the things I have mentioned are already in effect or have a place then sorry I will blame the tiredness lol.

Saying that these are more like suggestions than anything else.
