I'm glad you think of it that way. However, the community is really not as compact as you think; it could be a lot better in terms of everyone getting along and more High Quality posting being made, but there's nothing that can be done about that honestly. But as far as in general, the site's great and the community's pretty much in tact unlike most other forums.

If only NGU really was like that. :/ There's some great and friendly people on here, but many are just the same, plain assholes, that can be found on forum. People leech, scam, neg, and talk shit all the time. MySpace shits on Facebook =D

Facebook is shit.

I'm on NextGenUpdate a lot more than I am Facebook for the same reason I'd go on Facebook... To talk to people. I'm rarely in the forums if you need me and I'm on my computer you'll catch me in the shoutbox (Providing I'm not banned from it) where as facebook is just there like, I go on it at least once a day for about an hour then I'll leave the tab open whilst I go on NGU. The only real competitor with NGU for the social experience is Skype.

Overall Facebook = 4/10 Reason: I use it to locate people and make plans then watch funny videos and leave
Overall NGU = 8/10 Reason: I come on NGU to talk to people, have fun and sometimes learn something new? (The tutorials (sometimes) )

Rather go on NGU than hear about people's lives and how they hate this and that and bringing world star videos

Anything is better then FB, FB will be dead in 2 years

I only use Facebook to talk with people, check out endless car groups and post random shit.

It's gonna be the next MySpace / Aim :lol:
