Writing? Solving basic math? History? English grammar? Reading? Many more. Every job has some kind of school subject in it.

For me at least:
History; unnecessary. I know all I need to about that.
Reading, Writing & English Grammar; I have better grammar than most adults, I don't need lectures on it anymore.
Maths; My IQ is about 140, I cracked maths years ago.
I'm not trying to brag w/ the above, but it's the truth, I'm now onto learning stuff that I just don't need to know.

I agree with you; you say you don't need school now, correct?
I'm assuming you're in high school.... and I say the same. But truth be told, you can't really get a good job anymore without graduating high school AND going to college.

To and fro the island.
Unlike many of my friends, and just about 75% of my fellow classmates, I feel school is beneficial.

Even if the learning aspect is taken away, you have to consider the fact that it's what colleges look for. Someone who does not go to school is likely to get a job as if they are an F student, even if they are as smart as an A student.

There are times when school is a pain, but whether I realize it or not as the days go by I learn more and more in each of my subjects. It is not always the most enjoyable time of my life, none the less I know the harder I work now, the more it'll all pay off in the future.

Plus the fact that I plan on being a journalist later in life does make it pretty clear that English is something I'm going to have to pursue all the way through College.

It pretty much does. I mean you learn a lot, but you also learn the same thing multiple times. I would say kinda really. Though I do enjoy it.
