Meanwhile people are serving life in prison without a chance for parole for petty drug convictions and other victimless crimes, and won't be lucky to have a mandatory release.

Yeah it's sickening. I'm sure this is just the beginning of murders and rapist getting mandatory releases because of prison overcrowding.

Anyone takes person life should be done the same to him, eye for an eye that is a god rule not a stupid jury.
