That's the point. They forced people to spend time with their families. Don't get me wrong I was mad to but you have to see the reason why they did it. It wasn't because they didn't want us to play. In a interview a member stated "why should we pay these people to play when they don't even have good security". Why is everyone hating on them when they are trying to get them to stop making us pay to play?
I play on PS3. You don't pay to play PS3. If it's about paying for PS4? Don't buy a PS4. If you're really upset about paying for PS+ to play PS4 games online, there's a simple solution -- go back to PS3. The reason they did it? They're little bored Nintendo-obsessed kiddies who want nothing more than to piss people off. Some people can't spend time with family or don't have a family. Some people just want to play some CoD or Battlefield to escape the stresses of their lives. Don't make excuses for them. I spent time with my family on Christmas and Christmas Eve, and I was still able to use my PS3 online. Your point is invalid, when it come down to the fact that on "Boxing Day", nobody was allowed to sign in. I live in the fucking United States. I don't celebrate 'Boxing' Day. Now, if their real goal was to get us to spend time with out families (Doing what? Watch a movie?), then pray tell me, why did they not strike Nintendo and Steam? Exactly.
