(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is a question I am sure many of you have had so here is the place to discuss it. The reason I play video games is I get to just relax and forget about the hectic things in my life and to have fun without any worries about school, work etc.
Feel free to post below.Happy

Because it's a fun thing to do when you're bored and it kills time.

Escapism sometimes, I love stuff like Fallout and Skyrim, being able to go off in a world and explore it, Fallout more though, the post apocalyptic scavenging and survival is so comfy, often when I'm playing Skyrim, I just turn the music on (which I usually have off for general playing) go to the north of the map or the open plains to the west of white run get a beer and just walk around in the game while drinking and enjoying the OST. When you're in the snowy forests at night and you look up at the starlit sky, it's so relaxing.

OST related, this is playing while you're in a snowy forest as it's dark and the starts illuminate the night sky, bonus point if the Northern Lights are visible.

Aside from that, mostly just for fun though I don't really play games all that much anymore, I have to really be in the mood to pick one up and play it.

Today Will Be Different
When I was younger I played video games to have fun and waste time. Nowadays I'm busy with life, but when I do play games I usually play them competitively. Granted I'll still play Fallout or Skyrim to have fun and nerd out, then there are days where I feel like playing a flight sim etc.
