Battlefield has been a mainstay of the online multiplayer shooter community and for those that have stayed with the series for the last few years, EA is dropping a small but rewarding incentive for those that are designated veterans of the series.

In a new post on the Battlefield website, EA announced that a special “Veteran’s Pack” DLC will be made available for free to veterans of the series, with those that have previously owned Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4 eligible to receive the free content pack for Battlefield: Hardline – the DLC will also be available to any players that purchase and register the qualifying games after the launch of Hardline.

The “Veteran’s Pack” DLC will contain an in-game Veteran’s Patch for players, alongside one 200% Objective Boost that will be active (when initiated) for 30 minutes, alongside a 200% Teamplay Boost that also remains active for 30 minutes and gives an experience boost. The Veteran’s Pack will be made available for free once players log into Battlefield: Hardline for the first time.

Battlefield: Hardline will release for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 17th, 2015.

Sweet, although they did something similar for BF4. The only downside is it took forever to get my shit, which was battlepacks, a knife, and a special dogtag. I cannot imagine how long it's going to take to get these boost and that badge.
