A1 = You have not lost any weight...also depends on what kind of water...salt water is way less dense than fresh water. I think you are aiming at the "floating" feeling you get from having different densities.

A2. As the diameter of a column of water increases the total pressure increases over the entire area of the column, but as far as per square inch the diameter does affect the "force per square area".
