And it's 100 marine grunts. Not like it's a task force of 100 Deltas, DEVGRU, and SOG operators.

See I left my stance out because the question is so vague. There are a multitude of factors that could sway the debate either way, yet the OP who made this image left out need to know information.

What I do know though is that you can squeeze out two Rifle Platoons from the eight or so squads created out of a four man fireteam. However you can't make a full Rifle Company out of 100 Marines, seeing how the average Rifle Company has around 180 Marines. Granted you could create a tiny one, have a few squads of grunts, then the rest be artillery or whatever else you could get from a Weapons Platoon.

It could be doable under certain circumstances depending on what organic assets are available, but it would be pushing it.

I think it comes down to what you mean by 100 Marines. If it's just 100 Infantrymen and their weapons, they have no chance.

But you could put a nasty battlegroup together with 100 "Marines." Assuming you have the logistics, I'd go about 10 M1A2s which is 40, 8 AH-1Zs which is 16, a couple jets for CAS, some 155s, and then fill out the rest with infantry and their vehicles.

If course they will win with tanks and attack helis. Your just overthinking it

I'd say they're rather equal
