Id say british army if the marines ran out of ammo and 100k is alot to handle for 100 marines if it wasnt guerilla warfare

All depends on how much ammo the Marines have, how powerful they are, if they have any bombs on them... Not to mention the Marines are highly trained to fight, get the British weapons and hide really smart, I'll vote on Marines.

Marines...I'd consider that Revolutionary-era weapons were terrible shots. 100,000+ soldiers who have to come at you in close range, vs. various marines who can shoot a sniper a long way away? Besides, c4's, landmines, turrets, airplanes, and whatever else...

Ever heard of artillery?

They can just surround them and shell them for 2 weeks and they'd all be dead.

Just because something is outdated doesn't mean the generals are retarded, they would adopt to a new situation.

Hands down the British army. People actually thought with their heads back then and didn't rely solely on their firepower. Weaponry isn't everything in war...

If you give the Marines even just 1 MEU, they'd win.
