I don't think lottery is worth it, but they have a smart way to make money. Sadly, most of the people playing have an addiction.

It just the rush of winning millions of dollars is why people play and some people get addicted to the rush and the excitement of winning goes away. If you don't play everyday and don't do it for the money and just to have fun then its okay but if you use your hole paycheck to buy tickets then you have a problem.

Not really a scam, just pot luck. It helps fuel taxes so it's really useful here.
