I was wondering if any users would be interested in a "Film of the Week" thread.

Each week, myself or another user who wishes to submit a movie review, will add a reply to the main "Movie of the Week" thread.

This reply will consist of the previous weeks film name and a brief summary about it, followed by the Name, Trailer, Plot and a Review of our pick for that week.

As an avid film watcher and someone who can give an honest opinion, I would hope to see this integrated within the forums as I know many people on here enjoy watching good films.

We used to have ngu movie night but it was shit movies. And movie streams aren't allowed here anymore or downloads. So kind of pointless.

I wasn't suggesting posting streams or downloads. If someone wants to rent the movie or watch it illegally it's up to them.

I was merely suggesting it would be a nice feature to have because people can go to it if they want to watch a film but don't know what to watch, and scroll through the Movies that have been picked.

From there they can watch the trailer and read the review if they want (Spoiler tags will be used to shorten the post length and also avoid anyone reading something they don't want to read).

It's more of a reference guide than anything else, gives me something to contribute to the forums and gives others something to scroll through if they ever want to watch a good film.

I wouldn't mind doing "Indie Game of the Week" because there's only so many "AAA games" that people wouldn't have played, and since I know a lot of people on here enjoy playing something new.. I myself wouldn't mind writing reviews for Xbox One indie games or "less-played" games (as I currently do not own a PC - I have a Chromebook. Kill me.)


But it's just a suggestion. I just feel I should contribute more within the community and this is something I would enjoy doing as long as people would appreciate it
