Anyways here is how we end console wars, PC vs console wars, etc. We simply play against each other.

Now obviously this would require developers to work with players, which is rare today. However imagine if companies like EA made a version of battlefield where all the PC players were locked to one side and console players to the other. Who ever wins the most is obviously better and achieves bragging rights.

Apply it to any game you want where console wars end up being a thing like BF, CoD, and more recently Planetside 2 (PS2 is in closed beta on PS4 and yours truly is playing it).

Now there would be some obvious issues to resolve such as auto aim/aim assist that is present on nearly all controller based games, as well as graphical differences between PCs and current-gen (PS4 and X1) consoles, but once a level playing field has been established and agreed upon by both sides, the battle commences.

So what do you guys think? Good or bad idea? Personally I would love to face PC players and already do when I hook my controller up and start playing against them.

This would cause so many problems, but I have played both console, but I am a PC gamer and would love to see who would win.

it would also be quite hard because PC users get to use mouses, so they can be a LOT more accurate and if you gave a mouse to a console gamer well they probably wouldnt be able to use it as well as the pc gamers, same goes with controllers to pc gamers

Alright, this would be fun, in theory. Even if developers were to manage this no matter what, each platform has their fair share of shitty players. It's a simple fact. Whether those individuals want to admit it or not. No matter what first person shooter I play, I encounter hundreds of baddies who just cry that I, or the people I play with are cheaters. Yet, the fact of the matter is that we've used the same handles over the years, yet we've not acquired any VAC bans, PB bans, or fairfight bans.

The only time we received any bans of any sort is when we play on community ran servers, where admins usually just ban professional or ex-professional/competitive players because casuals cannot compete. Granted this is a legitimate reason, but scrimming all day gets boring. It's fun to play pubs, mess around, and use challenging weapons, gadgets, etc, just to see how bad some people truly are.

That issue would be non-existent if PC players could cross play with PS4 players. Each side can use their kb+m/controller. As for the accuracy thing, sure mouses may be more precise, but console players have gotten pretty good using a controller.



Even if you believe PC would wipe the floor with consoles, or in your case, even if you have proven PC wipes the floor with consoles :p, you must admit it would be fun to wreck most console players.



You see though, there are tests that can put a Ford on top of a Honda or vice versa. We can compare stats all day, but the tests are what really matter. Same goes to consoles, the war won't end until we face off.



As someone who played competitively for a short time and got his ass kicked, I can say that I would probably fall into that realm of shitty players. However going up against competitive players does do something. Okay two things, first it makes me rage, but then after the rage is over, I push myself to be better, or at least more creative in the ways I kill.

Brah even a novice with a mouse would absolutely demolish a expert with a controller. Its just the way they work. Controllers are slower and a mouses ares are fine tuned and made to be faster same with keyboards
