Series is named Dragonball Super set just after the end of the events Buu saga.
Which is memory serves me right had Goku disappear off to train.
Creator Akira Toriyama has released two movies based on the series which was a success leading to the new TV series. American release of Resurrection F is coming later this year.
Japan is getting the series first July 2015 with no word on the English versions.
Dragonball started out as a weekly manga but turned into a anime TV show.
Not sure what to think about this news....unless they expand on the idea of gods and Kais.
Used to watch the series as a kid not sure what to make of the news.

I would rather read it. At least then, I won't have to wait months to watch one sequence of a fight.
