Creator Akira Toriyama has released two movies based on the series which was a success leading to the new TV series. American release of Resurrection F is coming later this year.
Japan is getting the series first July 2015 with no word on the English versions.

Dragonball started out as a weekly manga but turned into a anime TV show.
