So, I was born on the 1st June 1997. 3 months early.
For those that aren't aware, that means I missed 1/3 of my time inside the womb.

I weighed 0.16 stone. That's 28% of a regular newborn.
I had a 10% chance of survivng my first few weeks of life in an incubator, fortunatley and against all of the doctors theories, I survived.

I'm turning 18 in 26 days, and I can't believe that I almost wouldn't have lived to see this day.
I haven't done much with my life, and I am disappointed because of it.

Will Smith said something that I took to heart and recently started thinking about a lot.
He said: "If you're not making someone else's life better, than you are wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other people's lives better."

As of today, I am setting myself a target. A life goal, if you will.
On the day of my 21st birthday, I aim to be in the best physical condition I can possibly be in.
I want to look good, not only for myself, but to inspire others that it's possible. No matter how short, tall, fat, skinny or self conscious you are.

By the day of my 21st birthday, I want to be proud of myself. I want to make my life worth living. Smile

I was born somewhere near a month early, not as severe as you obviously but I had to be kept in an incubator for like 2 months tears

I was born a month early although I don't think I had any lasting problems from it. At my time of birth, I was 4lbs and the umbilical cord was wrapped around my next, but those were both temporary things. If anything, I am a bit overweight now xD

I'm glad you grew up healthy and that you plan to do something with your life. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure I was born on time or very close to then so I'm pretty lucky. Aren't you glad we have modern medicine and trained doctors and support staff? If we didn't majority of births would have ended in tragedy. Well I wish you luck on your goal my friend Smile

I was born a week early. I was supposed to be born in June, not May. I wouldn't be here if my grandfather didn't come back to life when he died at 8 years old. :/
