Marines - i know this is very hard work and you have to put your all in to achieve if you want this so bad!

Army - not as tough as marine but still u need to achieve if you want this also!

im from UK

But if I were you, I'd do the Marine.

Both are great man. Really it just depends on what you want to do in the military. Any branch is something to be proud of and if you are dedicated enough, they can turn into great careers.

Whatever you decide, thank you for your service, it means a lot to our country!

First of all I just wanted to say thanks for serving our country! It takes alot of guts to join the military and serve our country! Both are vary good! Good luck wherever you go!

thanks guys for you replies i know maring u have to do a 1.5mile run in under 12minutes and a 1.4k run in under 10 minutes
army is pretty much basic but any challenge im willing to do i guess so i best get training at the gym etc have a great day everyone

Go with your heart man. Choose the branch you feel you belong to.

With any branch you join, you are doing a great service for your country.

EDIT: By the way, should probably specify what country you're from. :p I saw in another post you're from the UK. I'm sure others including myself assumed America. :p

Even though he's from the United Kingdom, he can still enlist into the United States Armed Forces. He just has to apply for a green card.

OP, personally, I would become a Marine. I just feel that the Army isn't the same as it used to be. Senior leadership just isn't there for me. What attracted me to the Marine Corps was the tradition, and the legacy of the Corps. Come 10 November, our Marine Corps will be celebrating 240 years of service to our great nation. Know that when you become a Marine, you'll be joining a brotherhood, and the worlds finest fighting force.

Assuming you're thinking about the United States Marine Corps over the Royal Marines. :p
