(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was reading the staff questions thread and I saw that quite a few staff were demoted then promoted. Sometimes quite a few times hahaha. I was wondering what are the grounds for being demoted? Or why do they get demoted?

Couldn't have said it better myself :p But honestly, if they see it as a reward then they shouldn't be in that position. I don't think they take it seriously or really care. It's the people who see it as a privilege or see as we do that should be in that position. People like that would make a great job at staff, maybe that's why SOME of our staff sucks. Because they see it as a reward, so they don't bother to put any effort.

Most common one is inactivity but could be a range of reasons or just one.
Being a asshole gets you removed quickly.

We normally give people a couple of weeks to pick up if they are inactive take for example exams we know that period of time people can be rather busy.
