Thoughts?

It definitely makes a lot of sense, and as a Christian myself I have been finding myself thinking about the legitimacy for religion for quite some time.

Yeah, it's a part of me that wants to believe that there is a God ( mainly because that's how I was raised ) but the pieces are starting to fall apart.

I always hear about how death and suffering is all part of "gods plan" If I were god, I would prevent this. I am only a human, and even a humans plan is 100x better than gods "plan"

Edit: Dont feel bad for disbelieving. It is like giving up santa clause.. You shouldnt feel bad about death either. Just think: Nobody is in hell burning forever and suffering forever. Nobody has to go there, even your family/friends that should be there aren't there. It's horrible to think that people worship a god who sends their friends and family to hell.

That's why I find myself to be Agnostic. I will admit though, when I enlisted I put down Catholic because I'd actually like to have some form of service if I were to be killed in action.

What branch are you in?

I enlisted into the USMC, but I haven't shipped yet. From what I heard yesterday my ship date is completely fucked, so I haven't got a clue when it actually is.

I've been thinking about going into the marines also.. Just not a good runner though
