(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So i had a choice, PS4 or E3 flasher to jailbreak my PS3 and my dumb ass choice the E3 Flasher. Modding is so boring now. Its fun and all but very boring. I honestly had more fun being legit then a modder. How about you?

I think it really depends on the platform, what you're modding, and your intended audience if you will. I got tired of the PS3 scene because in all honesty it was the same thing over and over again. Granted I don't mod on PC because I just don't have the time nowadays, but some of the things you see people create are outstanding. Hell, LSPDFR Alpha was recently released and a lot has changed since the release of LCPDFR. Regardless it's a really fun mod, and it adds another dimension to GTA V. Of course I have to agree when you talk about playing legitimately. I cannot see myself ever cheating or hosting lobbies or doing anything like that again. Granted on MW2 I got to 10th legit. For example, you get 10th illegitimately along with all unlocks etc, then every bit of challenge or goals you might have set to have fun just went out the window. You literally have nothing to do, unless you like boasting to friends. You have literally stripped yourself from the right to have fun and playing the game, because at that point there is really no reason to play the game, if that makes sense.

If you're just doing things like recoveries and hosting lobbies, then it'd get boring real quick. But if you were to start developing your own mods and whatnot, that's where the fun lies.

Balls of Steel
I've noticed everyone who says stuff like this doesn't make anything themselves. If that was the case for me then yeah I guess it would get boring just spending hours every day messing with people online with mods. Making stuff is still very intriguing though (at least for me anyways). There's always something new to learn and figure out.
