I'm a god.
I'd fight. One must accept death to really live.

It's more like a second Cold War, there are shitty proxy wars with funding from the big super powers.

It's not a matter of 'if', but 'when'. It's in human's nature to provoke and encourage warfare based on differing opinions, ideals, religions, cultures, etc. But look at the bright side, you'll get to know how a nuclear bomb feels up close Happy or how it feels to be droned down, because you won't join the military. If anybody thinks a country, especially the U.S., won't kill their own people in order to attain a larger army out of fear, then you'd be naive. A person is amazingly fit and could be a incredible resource for the military, but doesn't want to fight? Right, there's MK Ultra for that. I mean, come on, America's had internment camps for Japanese-Americans, infected black communities, and has done nothing to lower the trafficking rate of children. So, on that note, I believe a World War III would be a war two fronts: against other nations (such as Russia, North Korea (?), the Islam State (pretty sure they've only lost once, that being in WWI...), and who knows who else), as well as internal (gov't vs. its people) [I don't care if there's a draft, I ain't enlisting in the military. You can put a label on it, calling it 'defending one's country' or 'protecting one's life', but to me, it's just senseless murder.) The war would be much longer than ones previous. The first, being 4 years, and the second being 6. Perhaps this one would be 10 years, however with the threat of nuclear warfare, it could be shorter. With the threat of nuclear, biological, environmental, and electromagnetic warfare, this could be the worst sight ever, and at the end of it all, I could see one side of the war taking over and attempting to form a one world government; ultimately, a dictatorship. According to some, nuclear warfare has happened thousands of years ago. Sometime after, humanity lost its knowledge and started over. If this is true, then it would also detail why there are drawings of rockets in ancient sites, or what happened to the Atlantis, if it existed. I mean, I find it hard to believe that after thousands, if not millions of years, that it took this long for humanity to go through the technological period. I could start a whole rant about it being "alien" influence that took the knowledge away and "alien" influence that gave knowledge back from the 1700's and up, but I won't. But, as it's hard to find any 'certified' or 'official' proof, here's the best links I could find on the Ancient Nuclear Warfare theory: You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., You must login or register to view this content., and You must login or register to view this content. Meh, that's my view anyway. Personally, I subscribe to the Ancient Astronaut Theory, and the Dulce Base experiments, so I have an open-mind point of view, because why not? But rant over, :p I don't care if anybody takes what I wrote seriously, but you'd be an idiot to think your nation won't take advantage of the outcome of such a war. A one world government where all the masses can be controlled, or the ones who think differently are killed off? Seems pretty advantageous to me.

tl;dr: WWIII is a certainty, not a possibility. Countries will lose the trust of their people, entirely, and God help the people that survive the war and live under the resulting government.

Today Will Be Different
It's already begun. It very much reminds me of the Cold War, and the arms race it entailed. But I think we're just at the start of it and it's apparent that Russia is going to be leading the charge. Honestly, it all started when Russia started to expand it's borders, especially for some strategic locations. I think it's just a matter of time before they hit up Cuba and give them some better missiles, if you catch my drift.

Now whether I'd be scared or not, I really can't give a definitive answer. Who knows, maybe I'm walking into the lions den since I enlisted in the Marine Corps, and it's just a matter of time before I find myself fighting Russians, Chinese, Koreans, and everyone else who wants to join in. I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
