Hello NGU
Question: I want to order an item from Amazon and it says it costs $5.99 and I have $10 balance, when I goto buy it says I can use that $10 but I need to use a credit card aswell? Why when I have the $10 balance ? Do. I need a bank account linked to my account?

It cost $5.99 and you have $10... So you can buy it... (bear in mind i did not understand your post.)

I guess it would be so that if something goes wrong they know who you are kinda thing. I'm not 100% sure why they do it though.
