I'm using stick, love the feeling of being more in control of the car although wouldnt mind driving an auto, currently driving a BMW 3 series (2012) which is my sibling's.

It feels comfy though

Funny how my family are the only ones with stick whilst the rest of my extended drive auto.

Auto with paddle shifters is fun, thats all I use, still love rev matching.

Manual's great but one of these days if I have the money I may get a Cadillac with auto, my grandma had an impressive luxury car and it felt like driving on a cloud.

Manual all day every day. Especially for those learning, go Manual switching from manual to auto will always be 1000x easier than auto to manual! + Manual cars, you've got more control can feel the car more.

My experience actually was actually quite different. I learned how to ride motorcycles, then learned how to drive stick. All the fundamentals transferred over, minus the role reversal with your hands and feet. I currently drive an auto, since most UZJ100s are auto.

+1 if you ride motorbikes you will pick up driving manual like a duck to water, driving manual can be alot if you are also learning to drive. Manual is 100 times better then auto if you have a good teacher you will learn quick
