Post: Received my License to Carry a Handgun

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Applied on 7/22 and it came in the mail today (8/12) Not a terrible waiting time. 21 days. Would have gone faster if I had paid my first fee online. Anyways do you have a permit to carry a handgun? Do you actually carry on a regular basis? OC/CC?

I won't start carrying until I can put some more rounds through my gun. .357 has a good kick to it and I'm not ready to trust my life to it yet. When I do start carrying, my state doesn't discriminate on OC/CC but I will most likely OC since its hard to conceal a .357 with a 6 inch barrel.

My .357 was given to me for my 18th B-day by my dad. Its the only handgun I own atm. Ideally a SIG P227 or something similar would be nice to CC. However it comes down to money right now and P227s are expensive. Lol.
