(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); How did you learn to program? Where did you start? how long did it take you before you made your first mod tool/menu? How many ways do you know (Python, ruby, rails, C++ ect)?

Ill start. I started with ruby, going on day 2 😂😂. I found a website where it teaches you and it even makes you type it out which I think is very helpful. I want to learn that, than continue on and eventually learn C++ so i can make my own mods 😎.

Also, if you know any good websites to learn, feel free to post them in the thread 👍

I started with C#. It depends, if your interested and always wanting to creating programs then you will pick it up quick. If you want to make an RPC tool for GTA 5 I've made a thread so you can check it out, it's in the language of C#. Click You must login or register to view this content.

I want to make menus and RTM tools, but i heard c++ is hard to learn at first. So i looked up what i should learn first and some said Ruby is good for beginners.

If I were you, I would start with Java, Javascript, or Python. All 3 are great beginner languages. C++ and C# are more advanced and can be very hard to learn. Java is a part of most languages so learning that will help you with the rest.

I started with Java but the first language that I took a serious interest in learning was C#. It's very easy to learn the basics and I recommend it Happy

The first script that I wrote was in Pascal.. but I only really started programming after going to the university, where I learned Java, C/C++, C#, PHP and Javascript.
After graduating from the university I started developing mobile apps/games and eventually learned Objective-C.
I still prefer Java to any of the other programming/scripting languages

Try this website, it has a couple of interesting tutorials: You must login or register to view this content.
