Which do you prefer? Or if you had all the money in the world, which way would you go?

Consoles are more casual, so the people using them will be more casual; the inverse is similar. You can always defy a curve, though that's the explanations for the stereotypes.

PC is undeniably better, though I don't think people who game casual are any lesser, they just use gaming differently.

I agree! I have both but still prefer console over computer... for me.. It's just more comfy to sit on the couch Smile

I think I've ran into more casual players on PC than I can recall on console. Or at least casuals on PC are more prone to voicing their opinions on whether someone is cheating even though the person they are hackusating is clearly a more skilled competitive player.

funny how those who complain about the console wars and those who start are in the end just giving both companies revenue LOL

In competitive games, cheating is always insinuated or completely called out more than in casual games for a simple reason: they're competitive. I don't believe that's an accurate measurement to use when comparing, because they are two different cultures.

When people who play DarkRP, Trouble in Terroist Town, and Prop Hunt - which are some of the most casual things you can play - are literally about to go insane over calling cheats. I can't say I've played near the top level of Counter-Strike but I've come damn close, ranging from pugs to CEVO-M league matches I've not once seen someone in a competitive environment cry about someone cheating.

Right, when speaking about PC, I meant the competitive side; I'm well aware of the casual side of PC. Though, the competitive scene with consoles aren't massive. The majority rules that PC is more competitive, while console is more casual.

Your point is anecdotal, I get that.

The only thing I ever really played was gungame. Doesn't get more casual than that.

Both. I play PS4 when I wanna play a game of COD or Battlefield with some friends that i know IRL. But I play PC when I'm just playing solo games.
