If you haven't been playing Call of Duty this long then you probably can't emphasize.
I've been playing Call of Duty since the day view of Modern Warfare in 2007. The game in [my] terms died around Black Ops 2, Ghosts was good, but it didn't give that sentiment like all the other Call of Duties. Every since try-harding in Call of Duty 4, quickscoping in Rust, elevators in Skidrow, hacking CFW 3.55(EliteM0ssy & hunter128 s/o), one man army noob tube in Modern Warfare 2, and most importantly zombies with your pals on Black Ops and WaW, I've done it all. Today I'm 18 and it's been 4 years since I opened my first Call of Duty C.D and probably the last year I most likely will follow my route on the Call of Duty franchise. Honestly, Cliche to say that I will miss the trolls on the CODs, 9 year old Caucasian kids with voice changer who thinks he's 16, and the horrible matchmaking... maybe not on that last one.
I could go a lot deeper into this but you probably understand what I'm trying to get at.
How has Call of Duty affected you? In terms of Career paths? Social Aspects? Speech? Internet? Emotion? IQ? or has it not affected you at all?..
Taught me to fucking grow up and get a life.. This is from the CoD 4 days.. I was 16 back then and yeah pretty much would get asked to go to parties every weekend but nope i would say no and stay in and play CoD.... Looking back at it now oh god what was i doing back then, Just dont let CoD take over your daily life shit, Modders will prob realise this at some point.

I personally think CoD lost its appeal around MW3. I started playing with CoD4, played every one up til Black Ops 2. Black Ops was good, MW3 wasn't terrible, but the others were better. If there is one thing that CoD taught me, its that not everyone online is a 10 year old kid with their parent's credit card info on their account. Yes there are more than I care to acknowledge, but there are good people online. I mean hell my Dad plays CoD and hes 54. He is by no means an annoying person. Lol.

One of the coolest people I've met and still talk to is a guy I met on Call of Duty. He's in his 40s, has a wife, kids, a nice house, and a well paying job and could careless about his K/D or anything. He simply plays Call of Duty for enjoyment. He's actually a member here on ngu, never really active though, but I'm certain he's the oldest member on the site. Older than NeedaLifeSoon.
