Opening a copy of Playboy magazine on an airplane or at a hair salon may no longer have people raising their eyebrows.Playboy will no longer publish images of fully nude women in its magazine beginning this spring. The onslaught of Internet pornography has made the nude images in Playboy "passé,"Scott Flanders, the company's chief executive, told You must login or register to view this content.
"That battle has been fought and won," Flanders told the newspaper. "You're now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free."
The new Playboy will continue to aim for a target audience of millennials between the ages of 18 and 30-something.
The move to robe the magazine's Playmates is similar to Playboy's digital strategy over the last few years. Likewise, a 2015 app implemented the same strategy with a mobile-first focus on the magazine's written content.

"tens of millions of readers" continued to come to the "non-nude website and app every month for, yes, photos of beautiful women, but also for articles and videos from our humor, sex and culture ... sections." Since launching the new site, the median age of visitors has "shrunk from 47 to 30-years of age," according to the company.
While publishing has ebbed and flowed throughout the magazine's lifetime, as with most print publications numbers have steadily declined over the past few decades. Looks like Playboy will be going the way of the cassette tape, come the March 2016 issue. It's been a long time since I opened a Playboy magazine (14 I think, but those were my father's magazines....we won't talk about that.) However, I personally plan on purchasing and preserving a February 2016 issue, simply for the fact that I can imagine it becoming a collectors item in the future.

I think its good specially for today's society. Girls have everything hanging out... good to look at, but they show no respect for themselves..

Personally a women can look hot in clothes, she shouldn't have to get her tits out to get attention.

I think it should be socially acceptable for females to walk around naked just like cavewomen once did Cool Troll

Back in my day, we used this device called a computer to browse on this doohickey called the "internet" for nude and suggestive photos. And the best part was, there were 'moving" images with sound! I think they were called v-i-d-e-o-s. Ah, those were the times. Sal

Actually might buy the last copy of it because in years to come it'll be worth money + the fact I can should my kids (when they're old enough) that things were printed on paper rather then on a screen/ on the internet.
