Both are a little more expensive then the consoles well because its a computer that also plays games not just a singular item. Both of those PC are great starting points that are both capable for modern pc titles and upgrade able in the foreseeable future. Both will be able to open your eyes to all the wonder and glory of Steam, Origin and other PC Platforms as well as Emulation of older consoles such as nintendos and ps2 and soon xbox 360 and ps3. PC is cheaper in most cases in the long run due to all the money you save on games from sales. you also don't need to delete games you have downloaded or switch to bigger drives because you can always add more drives to your system.

Steam Vs PSN

Since i assume most of you are Playstation Users i'll compare Playstation

Steam
Free
Unlimited Name Changes
Customizable Profiles
Them Sales
eSports

PSN
Not Free
PS+ Games
Standby Mode
Video Apps

If your on the fence about PC and already have one these are great systems to get because then you can have the best of both worlds to play games and compare for yourself.

What is the best game that the build with the FX-6300 could run somewhere near High or Ultra?

Really? You could run Black Ops 3 and Fallout 4 on High or Ultra with this build? I thought you need a $2,000 build or something like that to run those...

I can vouch for the sales. I try not to go big on them buying hundreds of games on the cheap sales. I usually have a target game I'm looking to get, and if the price is right in one of those flash sales I buy it. It's great really. Plus I like being able to do some work, game, chat with friends, use voip, and browse the internet all on one machine that doesn't require a subscription - other than a stable internet connection - and enjoy my time.

Im not a hardcore gamer so a console for me is perfect. I have plenty of friends who play on the same console as me (PS4). The only time I'd build a gaming PC would be for racing sims, which 3 monitors, a wheel etc.

Personally, I recognize that PC is better, but my preference is still PS4.
