Basically Type 1 is auto immune, so it's just bad genes/luck/whatever with my body, and not so much related to my diet. But just figured I'd ask. Any of you guys have diabetes? If so, what type? And any tips for living with it? My blood sugar was at 550 yesterday, but I felt totally fine, even though apparently 550 is near fatal. Thankfully I'm significantly reduced today.

Damn bro. Glad you haven't croaked on us. I honestly never would have never figured you to be diabetic. I have no real information to give since as I do not have any form of diabetes. But I did have an assistant principal who was type 1 diabetic and she had some sort of device hooked into her. I just know type 1 is the worst to have even though both are equally bad.

Appreciate it man. Yeah, she probably either had a continuous monitor or a insulin pump. Eventually I'll probably get to that point.

At least you didn't find out when you were hospitalized for the hypoglycemia, best of luck man.

No problem, and yeah I think she had an insulin pump. I just looked at some pictures and it looks very similar to what she had. Oddly enough I recently saw a streamer who was type 1 diabetic and she had to redo some things on her pump and it made me cringe. I don't have a fear of needles or anything but the idea of having to do that shit just doesn't seem fun.
