WW3 not going to happen conditions are not right for event like that to happen. Regional conflicts don't have the power to pull other nations into them. Unlikely to see another cold war due to lack of benefit from doing that.
What happening is G zero world.....emerging vacuum of power in international politics created by a decline of Western influence and the domestic focus of the governments of developing states.
Turkey is important to Russia both don't care about what happened. Putin going to do minor action which he has done but nothing major.
Not a fan of Erdogan but him and Putin very close to each other.
There is still a cold war...Turkey is in NATO remember that. Putin supports Assad in Syria. Obama supports the rebel groups who left Assad to fight ISIS. Basically Obama and Putin are on opposing sides. Hence, no "hot wars" yet between Russia and USA, only talks, means USA and Russia are still involved in a Cold War.
