This video is significant as it shows actual, non-simulated video of it's drove delivery service. It is currently in testing across the U.S. and U.K. and will be available when Amazon has regulatory support and has proven the system to be safe. It is advertised to be able to deliver packages up to ten miles away.



I'm extremely excited about it because a brand new Amazon warehouse just opened up less than ten miles away from my house.

This looks crazy. There was a discussion back when this was first announced about how easy it is for hackers to hack drones blah blah blah, I wonder how they'd prevent this. This looks extremely promising though! Kudos to Amazon for presenting us with this amazing futuristic and ambitious idea and still sticking to it.

I can't wait to see how this delivery service is in the next 20 years!
