I think they're only frowned upon because the general gist of most of them are people who cry about nonsense and are just trash members who do nothing but belittle everything and everyone that actually contributes something to ngu. I could be wrong though. But the few goodbye threads I have seen have been pretty salty.

Yep that's why they get closed and why they are frowned upon, HeroWin is nice enough that I didn't expect it to go down like that so it's open until it isn't haha.
