(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is it me or is gaming boring? I use to play all the time when I was younger, but now I can't find any pleasure out of it. I find older games to be better than newer games.

What are your thoughts?

Totally agree with that.
I rarely play anything anymore.

I play WoW and Diablo , WoW when a new expansion comes out + a few months unless the content is actually fun and D3 is mainly at the start of a new season + a few weeks.

I started playing the Pokemon games again and messing around on the 3DS but that about as far as I go with anything anymore.

I got really bored of video games for a couple years but now I'm getting back into it again. Bought a few games recently (tomb raider, AC, etc.) and I'm really enjoying it.

So I don't think it's really an age thing as some people are saying. Maybe you guys will get back into it too.

I have lost interest in some games like CSGO now, and rarely play my PS3 anymore, and when I do its for a bit of nostalgia on bf3 or mw2. I do play bf4 on my xbox one and get a lot of enjoyment out of it when I'm playing well. BO3 I am really shit at, probably because I had a long time of not playing cod. I play games like Company of Heroes and War Thunder now, and will most likely move completely away from consoles.

I think its based around age.. when i was younger cod4 w@w etc were the place to be, so insane... now im older and its not as fun. I play zombie arcade anytime i play ps4 but might buy outlast as that looks quite fun.

But its all based on age. Plus working legit to 10th Prestige was good, now we have so many mods to play around with Sal

Its good as its the new generation kicking ass

I got Outlast for free with PS Plus subscription, but then I got bored with that game. I use to love playing zombies all the time back when I played BO1 and WaW, but now I just don't understand how the zombie gamemode even works with BO3 Wtf

I literally bought CS:GO as I saw everyone having fun with it... turns out I haven't touched that game for months now, I just can't trust myself wasting money on video games anymore :(

In Flames Much?
Honest no :p

Gaming is like movies if only view one genre end up getting bored

One reason why want a gaming PC is due to various genres on that system and experiences which just not on console.

I feel you on it being cyclical. I honestly feel it's one of those things that you can burn yourself out on for awhile if you don't change it up a bit. Like grinding on Call of Duty. I use to enjoy doing that now I don't really care for Call of Duty because of all the grinding you have to do. And you can't go wrong with Assassin's Creed. It's one of the few franchises that I'll probably never get bored of.

I found this as well. I've gotten into BO3 a good bit lately but don't get excited for newer games coming out. I also love playing older games. I look forward to playing new Nintendo games and do not get bored of them. Maybe it's because ever since i was younger I've always played Nintendo games with the same characters. With Playstation i haven't grown up with the characters as they don't have a series that has been around for more than 15+ years and is still actively making games.

I'm at the point where I buy games that I want to play, yet I hardly get on my PS3/PS4, so they sit on my shelf sealed. Sal
