This guy was spotted wandering round with a (POS) device. All he has to do is key in a price less than £30 and then touch the device on the pocket that contains your wallet and you've just been charged automatically on your touch pay enabled credit/debit card

I sort of thought it was quite clever, but still obviously bad if it happens to you Sal

I wouldn't think that would work, considering the fact that the card has to be out of your wallet and has to almost touch the device :p
The distance between the card and the device is surely too far away, but maybe not :p
As well, doesn't most of them POS devices require a wifi signal?

Even if this was done to you, a simple charge back with your CC company and you got your money back. No problemo. :p

In most cases it's not that simple to do a chargeback. A POS means you had to physically be there, so unless you report your card as stolen they can't really do anything and if you do report it as stolen you are sol for however long it takes to get a new card. Not entirely sure how you could report that as a fraudulent charge since when you do something like that they actually do look into it.

I dont think a Chargeback is that easy to do. If you go and buy something in a shop and then chargeback I dont think they do anything really
