(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); What's up.. Would you guys prefer store bought games or downloads for the store of your gaming media's. I like store-bought because I think it's more safer as in if I ever get banned I still would have them. What your opinion on this? I would love to hear it

You are blaming the wrong people. It's not the fault of a distribution method for your ISP being shity.

This would be valid if it wasn't for the reason that some games have day 1 patches that could be the size of the actual game. Best thing about corrupted data? File repair, you can't just tape a disk back together.

Not only that cd media isn't indefinite. They do break down over time. However if you take care of it, it will last a long time.

Lmao. I remember when digital downloads dropped for PS3. Especially PS+ free games. I started downloading and installing them by the masses. I cringed when I got throttled and I cringed harder when I filled my hard drive. The world isn't ready for digital downloads imo. :madsal:

Except the millions of people who are just fine on steam? Almost everything has a digital counterpart. If the "world wasn't ready for it" then that would not be an option.

Some of you guys make it seem like head crashes are still a common thing.

Damn Daniel, always this passionate about downloads.

What you said is true. But also what Frosty and Rath said is more true and that fact that you can get banned or even hacked into is another reason to get disk copies. Even though you can extend the limit of your space on consoles, they are not infinite. I upgraded my ps4 to 6TB but I still use disks. But yes digitals are cool. The way you scroll through all your digitals and not put a disk feels nice.

Disks don't brake easy unless your using excess force. I still have my games from 2007's in top condition.

I'm use to be on their top tier package, I believe it was called Ultimate or whatever. I downgraded to Premier because I got tired of the constant throttling and never coming near the speeds they claimed. Hell, I might even downgrade to their Preferred package because of the same reasons.
