"The Energy Crisis"

----

Apparently Democrats believe a solution to oil prices is to wait and hope. I support new clean methods of energy, nobody is pro-pollution. These new energy methods won't be perfected for many years as much as we would like to hope for it to happen, that fact of the matter is it won't.

Which is why we need to drill in ANWR and off-shore.
We need to preserve our future now and make sure we will be safe. In response to the "10 Years For Any Effect" claim, yes it is true it will take 10 years for that oil to reach us, but look at what talking about it has done, gas has dropped! If we initiate drilling GAS WILL DO DOWN, because the oil companies will want us to forget about drilling, they won't make any money if we drill. So they drop prices like they did years ago during the first oil crisis when we talked about action.

We need to ensure a safe future with oil, so if renewable energy does not come soon enough we will have wealthy amount of oil to support America until it does.

I really do not like McCain. He reminds of bush way to much. Honestly i hated bush so much. Obama seems like the better man. McCain if elected can ruin peoples lives if they do not go to college and i wouldn't want my kids living with me forever.

John McCain is obviously a crook, he left his wife who was in a coma for another wife who was rich. Obama isn't great either, because he obviously uses the fact he is black to get further in his campaign. They are both bad candidates, as most are in politics because they lie alot. Politics are still interesting though, and there ARE politicians who WANT change. Mike Gravel and Ron Paul were great candidates as they wanted to get in and fix the country by giving us back our rights which we are losing more and more of.

Just an energy tidbit here...
I was watching the discovery channel and there was a show that talked about bettering the Earth. Towards the end they showed a simulated version of what I call a Super Solar Panel. It is a HUGE solar panel in space that is attached to several satellites. They estimate that the energy would be endless and would supply ALL of our energy needs. Also they assumed that this project would not be overwhelmingly difficult too. The only problem is that all of the countries and governments would fight for the right to control this contraption. So if the world could come together just a little bit and agree on who would control this, energy and global warming would no longer be a problem.

I'm not giving reasons why I'm for McCain's responses to issues but he obviously knows soooo much more on war, character, and patriotism because of his acts. He was shot down in his plane and held captive for 5 years and tortured every day. He did not budge or give any information. Also they offered him a deal where if he signed a paper saying his country was evil and whatnot, he could return home unharmed. But he said no. He was offered this option many times too. Now that is a true hero. I'm up for giving him a shot at the presidency because he is by far better than Barrack Obama in many ways.
