"The Energy Crisis"
----
M
Apparently Democrats believe a solution to oil prices is to wait and hope. I support new clean methods of energy, nobody is pro-pollution. These new energy methods won't be perfected for many years as much as we would like to hope for it to happen, that fact of the matter is it won't.
Which is why we need to drill in ANWR and off-shore.
We need to preserve our future now and make sure we will be safe. In response to the "10 Years For Any Effect" claim, yes it is true it will take 10 years for that oil to reach us, but look at what talking about it has done, gas has dropped! If we initiate drilling GAS WILL DO DOWN, because the oil companies will want us to forget about drilling, they won't make any money if we drill. So they drop prices like they did years ago during the first oil crisis when we talked about action.
We need to ensure a safe future with oil, so if renewable energy does not come soon enough we will have wealthy amount of oil to support America until it does.
